Adrienne K. Barry, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Barry’s extensive clinical and scientific background drives her practice of dermatology to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients of all ages and skin types. She collaborates with patients to determine a personalized treatment plan that works best for them. 

Dr. Barry completed her dermatology residency at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), which is regarded as one of the top dermatology centers in the world. At UCSF, she trained with leaders across the spectrum of dermatology. She has expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS).

Dr. Barry completed her undergraduate education at Emory University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a double major in chemistry and music. She earned her MD and PhD from the University of Illinois. During her PhD, she studied biochemical and biophysical mechanisms of cell communication, which has broad applications in skin health and disease, including wound healing. Dr. Barry has presented her research at national and international meetings and has published numerous articles in the peer-reviewed literature.
