Michele M. Thompson, M.D.

Dr Michele M. Thompson earned her medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) after receiving an M.S. in Biology from Portland State University and a B.A. from Miami University of Ohio. Her post-doctoral training included a residency in Dermatology at OHSU, where she was Chief Resident, and a Preliminary Medicine internship at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.

Dr Michele M Thompson is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society and has received several grants and fellowships from such organizations as the National Institutes of Health, American Dermatological Association and North American Hair Research Society. She has delivered presentations and published research articles in peer-reviewed journals on a variety of dermatological topics.

Dr. Thompson is a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). As a volunteer faculty member at the UCSF Department of Dermatology, she teaches medical students and residents.
